Improve Your Writing With

Action: Usually best if swift, hard-hitting, and conclusive. However, action must be realistic and authentic, using sequences, equipment, weapons, and actions that are factual. While the mysticism of oriental writing and movies has capitalized on men flying, battles choreographed in mid-air, and combatants capable of defying al logic, most stories and writers avoid such fantasy for more realistic paths. As a result, realism and believable action needs to follow athentic and factual events and abilities unless a character has been developed that can defy normalcy.
We provie real action sequences in a drag and drop format for numerous action events

Convincing characterizations. Many writers make the mistake of changing the attitudes and actions of their characters in mid-stream. Sometimes this is done because the writer wants to soften the character to make him or her more sympathetic to the reader; however, this is often done in violation of normal behavior and causes the reader to feel the character is either unreal or superficial.
We provide convincing characterizations, descriptions, actions and thinking in a drag and drop format

Descriptions of real places and events. Stories are often enhanced with the writer uses real places and events already known to the reader. However, these places and events must be researched quite thoroughly for the reader to believe in the writing. And if a real place or event is used, be assured that the publisher, editor or reader is going to know about it sufficiently to decide if your writing is real and authentic. Even made-up places and events, like found in science-fiction, have a ring of authenticity to them if written correctly.
We provide descriptions, names and information about real places and events in a drag and drop format

Factual names, both foreign and domestic. Years ago, it was common for American characters to have simple and easily stated names. Many actors real names were changed and simplified (Marion Morrison became John Wayne; Archibald Leach became Cary Grant, Alphonso D'Abruzzo became Alan Alda, and Betty JoanPerske became Lauren Bacall). Today, characters are more likely to use their own names as their stage name. This leads us to an understanding that real names have become the accepted and preferred credentials of characters. And those names need to be authentic regarding the local or nationality of the character. As an example, not all arabs are named Mohammed, not all Russians are named Yuri, and not all Americans are named John.
We provide lists of first, middle and last names for both male and female names used in 46 countries

Heart-felt emotions, expressions, and attitudes. The characters of any story should be consistent in their thinking, emitons, attitudes and expressions--and not all charactrers should be similar, let alone the same. Each character needs to have a separate behavior as is found among people in real life. While some are heroes and others are villains, many are typical people--but each is as different as one snowflake is from another. And any writing that does not develop different characterizations for each character, and those characterizations remain consistent throughout the story, loses a reader faster than anything else. Readers identify with characters, sometimes they see themselves as one of the characters in the story, and sometimes a loved one, and sometimes an enemy, a boss, an antagonist, a neighbor. And all are real people, so the characters in the story must also read like and feel like real people.
We provide descriptive drag and drop characterizations, feelings, emotions, attitudes and actions based upon normally accepted behavioral separations of real people. Find one you like, and use the numerous descriptions and used to depict the individual

Authentic foreign dialogue and descriptions. It is obvious to anyone that has traveled that people of different cultures and countries think and act differently. Even Britishers act different than Americans, and even speak a different language though the words are the same. It is necessary and critical that any character, speech, and descriptions of a person be authentic and realistic of the country, race, religion or culture used as the basis of that character.
We provide idioms of several languages, descriptive words, speech, and descriptions in a drag and drop format

Exciting dialogue, action, descriptions. Dialogue will either make or break any manuscript. Some writers are not comfortable with dialogue and use it very sparingly, others love to talk and over-indulge their characters in dialogue. In addition, dialogue can be very static, with he said, she said, and limited in descriptive wordage to give the reader a feeling for the emotion, feellings, and attitudes behind the dialgoue. It is important that the reader follow not only the owrds, but the feelings associated with the dialogue.
We provide drag and drop formatted lead-ins, lead-outs, pre- and post-thought, actions, emotons, and descriptions to include n your dialogue

Romantic interactions. In a 1987 movie entitled Roxanne with Steve Martin and Daryl Hannah, a comic remake of the Cyrano de Bergerac story, the importance of romance is emphasized in comparing a good-looking oaf interested only in sex to woo the maiden to a grotesque featured man whose romantic dialogue sweeps the girl off her feet. Far too many writers use sex when romance is called for and are unaware of the difference. Most romantic novels are really get-togethers for sex, rather than contain the sensitive feelings and emotons that typically develop in love affairs.
We provide sensitive and romantic interactions in a drag and drop format, along with descriptions of thoughts and interests of lovers

Descriptions of places you've never been. You do not have to have been somewhere to write about it. Years ago, before the Information Revolution, the slogan of writing was "Write About What You Know." But today, a person can write very authentically about places he has never been. It takes research and understanding along with patience and a lot of fore-thought, but it can be done very convincingly.
We provide descriptive writing in a drag and drop format about places around the world
